Our cave villa in Santorini

When planning our trip to Greece, we knew we wanted to splurge on Santorini. It was a dream destination for us with its whitewashed houses, panoramic views of the sea, and sunsets like I've never seen before.

Village of Oia, Santorini

We chose Lydia's House, an old bioclimatic cave house that a well-known Greek architect fully renovated. It's one of the last houses on the edge of the cliffs in Oia and offers a stunning view the sea and cliff-side villages.

Complete with an indoor pool, Lydia's House was perfect for us. We could walk everywhere and the team was AMAZING. This property came with a concierge service that was above an beyond what we were expecting. The daily cleaning service, breakfast and check-ins were wonderful. The property manager, Panayiota, was very knowledgable and even helped us plan a sailing trip.

Lydia's House in Santorini

We spent several evenings relaxing with a glass of wine on the porch or rooftop terrace. If visiting Santorini, Lydia's House should be at the top of your list. You can book Lydia's House on Airbnb.
