There are so many great beaches on the North and South Carolina coast. We've been to many of them and our favorite South Carolina beach is DeBordieu. Haven't heard of it? We hadn't either.
DeBordieu is a small, private beach in Georgetown, South Carolina near Pawley's Island. It's a beautiful stretch of sand where dogs can run on the beach off leash and the people are so welcoming and friendly.
We were there in the middle of the summer and it never felt crowded. There are no hotels in DeBordieu, so to stay there, you'll need to rent one of the beautiful homes. We made our first drone video to show you more of DeBordieu because words don't do it justice.
Note: DeBordieu and many other coastal communities in North and South Carolina have been impacted by Hurricane Florence. From now until November 1st, for every trip we plan, we will be donating a portion of all proceeds to help those displaced by Florence and to help rebuild communities damaged by the storm.
